Antique Independent Brewery Beer Railroad Car Heater Milwaukee Wisconsin Simplex Charcoal
A neat piece of railroad and brewery memorabilia! An Antique Simplex Charcoal Heater made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a “Property of Independent Brewery MIlwaukee Wisconsin #43” brass tag riveted onto the top of the heater. I imagine this heater was used to keep the beer and soda products from freezing that Independent shipped on the railroad. Some light surface rust near the bottom, but otherwise in good shape. It measures about 30” T x 14” in diameter.
